Exergetic Effects of Cooled Cooling Air Technology on the Turbofan Engine during a Typical Mission

چکیده

The cooled cooling air technology (CCA technology) shows expected performance in solving the growing thermal challenge for advanced aero engines by reducing temperature of air. effect CCA on overall propelling with or without adjusting cycle parameters is controversial. Based this, both energy and exergy methods have been adopted to elaborate specific mechanisms above utilization discrepancy. As a result, scheme optimizing has lower work efficiency total destruction increasing 0.5~2%. Oppositely, as meliorated parameters, improved around 2~4% reduced 1~3.5%. By analyzing distribution destruction, avoidable unavoidable caused combustion chamber, compressors, turbines accounts largest proportion, which indicates that more attention needs be paid future. During whole flight mission, percentage much higher supersonic, subsonic cruise, combat, escape conditions. In conclusion, improvement reduce should considered when introducing technology.
